Today, I'm once again participating in Snapshot Saturday which is sponsored by Alyce of At Home With Books! Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don't post random photos that you find online.

  1. What a wonderful celebration! The weather looks much more pleasant where you are than in London on the day of the parade.

    1. Yes, it sure was. We're supposed to be in the rainy season but somebody forgot to tell the sky!

  3. I would love to be in one of the places where the Jubilee is celebrated! The closest for me, of course, would be Canada.

  5. My children love going to parades, there is just something about seeing so many people together to celebrate something. Usually though, my kids are hoping that candy will be thrown!

  6. Looks like a great parade. I guess Queen Elizabeth II has been properly celebrated by now, there seems to have been a lot of things going on all over The Commonwealth.

  7. Funny that I only thought of the celebration in England, not all the countries around the world connected to the royal family. Looks like it was quite the celebration.

  10. What a lovely celebration. Amazing to think so many people all over the world marked the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Mu Snapshot is about an even older Queen - a Saxon Warrior Queen who led her troops into battle against the Danes. http://goo.gl/vTUc8
